In the skit, Martin Short plays a greasy chain smoking scumbag being grilled in a mock interview as he's literally lying through his teeth, profusely sweating and denying any wrongdoing. At one point, the interviewer asks Short why he's being so defensive which he replies, "why are you being so defensive?" Great stuff before SNL completely went in the crapper. I like Dobb's request for him to mellow out and if this is so funny why not be laughing instead of being so aggressive. I'd say Mr. Martin along with the vast majority of these Africans are literally not quite ready for prime time. They are children emotionally and should be treated as such.
