Don’t be an idiot. I’m also Cuban and also live in Miami. I studied hard, work hard, learned to drive, respect the laws and pay my taxes. There’s no excuse for being a drug dealer or live a life of crime. If your relatives pushed drugs and that landed them in jail, what better example do you need? How can you say that pushing “coke” is a way of life and a necessity? Be grateful to the Country that opened her arms to receive you and give back. Not working out for you here? There are 49 other States with equal opportunities to succeed for those that try hard enough; pick one and move.

Thought at times rather harsh, most of what is being said here is true. Case in point: Miami Lakes, FL. Beautiful, modern city with impeccable streets and well mannered people of all races. Then, a high concentration of poorly educated African Americans with criminal mindsets moved in. In a matter of 6 months the city was taken over. I know because I was moving to FL at the time and looking for a home in the area. There was a golf course community with million dollar mansions in there. I went to look at those homes and standing on the corner of the street, you could see every single home up for sale, at a fraction of it’s assessed price. I became suspicious and finally one of the homeowners confesed to the true reason why they were moving. Most of those folks had worked long into their lives and had retired already.

But don’t get me wrong here, I believe that *any* high concentration of likewise people is a bad recipe. Too many Hispanics, too many blacks, too many whites, too many Asians in one area are a cause for trouble. Diversity is key, it keep us on edge and competitive. And “diversity” is not being other-than-white, for pete’s sake, its being diverse in nature and equal in numbers to each other. That’s why - with all due respect to other countries - this is the greatest country on Earth. When same-kind people of all parts of the world decide to do better, they come here.

Solution 1: Put a six month limit on welfare. All welfare.
After the sixth month, welfare not to be re-allowed
for five calendar years. Allow use of deadly force
to disperse unruly mobs.

Solution 2: End general welfare. Allow employer funded
unemployment insurance. Fund soup kitchens, and
give bus tickets to Mexico.

I vacillate on whether or not they should be forgiven for their profound illiteracy and persistence in ignorance.

Given the state of Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, D.C., etc., it would appear that David Livingstone’s and Albert Schweitzer’s words were prescient. But, rarely having read a book, I wouldn’t expect a liberal to know this.

I’m an engineer, not a sociology major, so i try to look at how to get the job done. The fact is, even though we all know the facts, any arguments that we make cannot address race if it’s to be taken serious by everyone. It always backfires. All the tea parties may have been taken serious, until race came up, and the liberal media jumped all over it. Any argument we make, can really be made by eliminating the racial designation, and make our point even better. If i say the area of Bert Rd in Jax, where i unfortunately resided for several years, needs cleaning up because of the black hookers, black drug dealers, black trash, liberals would call me rascist, and they’d probably request Govt money to clean up the area. However, by just wanting to get rid of the hookers, drug dealers, and trash, it becomes intelligent concern, not hateful prejudice. The other benefit in addition to taking away the liberal crying points, is that there are obviously blacks who do take pride in their lives and are positive role models for their children and others. Using race arguments alienates these people, and we need all the good people we can to fix the problems.

By simply differentiating good people vs. bad, eliminating every racial issue from minority scholarships and affirmative action, it may help actually get all the good people on board.

So what do we do to solve this problem? Obviously, the first is stop the procreation. EVERYONE has an obligation to society, and must accept responsibility and accountability for their own actions. Those that procreate without that obligation need to understand the burden they put on society and the disadvantage they subject their offspring to. It is selfish behavior. And yes, I do agree that government-sponsored programs funded by taxpayer dollars only encourages this behavior. It makes people lazy and unaccountable.

Now I’m not saying to do away with these programs completely; there are some that are responsible and accountable, but by some misfortune ended up in a dire situation - like the loss of a bread-winning spouse - and need a helping hand. But for those who are irresponsible and unaccountable, they should be denied these social priviliges as well as the right to procreate. I am a God-fearing Christian and believe in the freedom to life. But I’m also a realist and believe a child deserves freedoms as well, but a child born into that environment is robbed of their freedom. They are put at a disadvantage from the outset with the odds stacked against them.

Rather than dump all this money into welfare or other social programs that encourage the problems, how about putting it towards programs that fix the problems? If you choose to bring children into this world but do not want to be accountable for their well-being, you should by moral law give up the right to procreate and be neutered or spayed - just like society does with animals. And for those children you already have and do not care for, they should be taken away and put into an environment where they are taught how to be socially responsible.

Mel Blount, former All Pro NFL cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers runs a youth home in SW PA. One would have to visit to understand the truly amazing job he does in turning around the lives of underpriviliged youths and giving them a chance. The youth are taught to be responsible and accountable; they are given structure and guidelines; they learn different skills; but most of all, they are taught tough love and are valued as part of their community.

Until our government has the balls to stop considering individual freedoms over the good of a society, and funding programs that enable the problem rather than fix it, this social issue will only worsen over time. What will it take for us to understand that a 10 year old robbing someone at gunpoint is a problem? Is our government willing to let this perpetuate until our great nation is turned into one of chaos and destruction - like we are witnessing in the Middle East? Its time to follow the principles of Social Morality - the good of society MUST be put above the good of any one individual.

then again, the majority of black people are violent neanderthals. its pretty obvious that there is a problem with a particular group of people when they are placed within a population and almost instantly, the crime rate skyrockets. look at africa….its a war torn hell hole. then look at all the cities that have high concentrations of black people….they are also hell holes.

not only that, but why are blacks proud of being raised within poor communities? the poorer the person, the more respect they get from their friends?

its hard to trust a group of people that have caused such violence and chaos over the years. i used to think blacks were just stuck in poverty. but after the rodney king riots. i just realized they were inhumane animals. there are videos on the internet of blacks beating white women in the streets.

men are only supposed to fight men.
but i guess animals dont know that…
